ONE Championship Parts Ways with Thailand's Nat "Wondergirl" Jaroonsak and Four Other Fighters
ONE Championship has released Thailand's Nat "Wondergirl" Jaroonsak, heavyweight Regan Upshaw, and three other athletes, according to the Bangkok Post.

ONE Championship has released five fighters from its roster, according to the Bangkok Post. The list includes Thailand's Nat "Wondergirl" Jaroonsak, China's Luo Chao, Algeria's Mohamed Younes Rabah, Japan's Shinji Suzuki, and American Regan Upshaw. The report states that all were informed on the morning of Friday, October 23, and were told they could return if they regain momentum outside the organization. Jaroonsak's and Upshaw's athlete pages on the official ONE website now display "Former ONE Athlete."
Wondergirl, 27, departs after suffering three consecutive losses. According to the Bangkok Post, medical reasons played a significant role in the decision. She joined ONE in 2020 and gained prominence in Muay Thai with stoppage victories over Brooke Farrell and KC Carlos. However, she later lost a decision to Jackie Buntan and transitioned to MMA. In her MMA debut at ONE 157 in May 2022, she submitted India's Zeba Bano in the first round. That marked her last victory in the organization, followed by a decision loss to Lisa Kyriacou in MMA and a technical knockout loss to Xiong Jing Nan in a special rules bout in 2023. Her younger sister, Anna "Supergirl" Jaroonsak, announced her retirement in March at the age of 22.

In the heavyweight division, Regan Upshaw, 28, leaves ONE after just one fight that lasted six seconds. The former Clemson football player made his professional debut at ONE Fight Night 44 in June at Lumpinee, where he was knocked out by a head kick from England's Paul Elliott.
Luo Chao, 25, is released shortly after weighing in at 164.4 pounds for ONE Samurai 4 in Tokyo, which is 9.4 pounds over the featherweight limit of 155 pounds, leading to the cancellation of his kickboxing semifinal against Marat Grigorian. Rabah, 29, exits after two consecutive losses in Muay Thai to Luke Lessei and Ricardo Bravo, finishing his stint with two wins, three losses, and one no contest. Suzuki, 40, lost four of his five fights in ONE, with his only victory coming against Han Zi Hao at ONE 166 in Qatar in March 2024.
