Johan Ghazali Vows Revenge Against Estupinan in Rematch at The Inner Circle 42
Johan "Jojo" Ghazali is determined to avenge his loss to Johan "Panda Kick" Estupinan. The two will meet again on Friday, December 11, 2026, at The Inner Circle 42, held at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, in a flyweight Muay Thai bout under the ONE Championship banner.
This matchup features two fighters who have previously engaged in an action-packed battle. Now, in addition to their rivalry, there is another factor at play: the opportunity to gain momentum in the race for a spot in the top 5 of the ONE flyweight Muay Thai rankings.
Their first encounter took place in January 2025 at ONE 170, and it was thrilling from start to finish. Ghazali scored a knockdown in the first round, but Estupinan retaliated in the second, also sending his opponent to the canvas.
With the fight wide open, the Colombian gained the upper hand in the third round and secured a unanimous decision from the judges. Both fighters had their moments, but Estupinan emerged victorious.
Now, Ghazali aims to rewrite that narrative.
At just 19 years old, the Malaysian-American comes into this rematch after a rollercoaster period. Previously, he had built a record of 6 wins and 1 loss in ONE, which earned him a $100,000 contract.

Following his first bout with Estupinan, he experienced mixed results: three wins and three losses against emerging talents. With a record of 28 wins and 11 losses, including six finishes in ONE, he is also trained by Superbon, the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion.
A sign of recovery came in October at The Inner Circle 35, where Ghazali defeated Diego Paez by unanimous decision in another rematch. This result restored his confidence ahead of another showdown.
On the other hand, Estupinan has faced challenges after a strong start in the organization.
The 24-year-old Colombian debuted in ONE with five consecutive victories, including back-to-back bonuses of $50,000. His winning streak ended with a decision loss to Taiki Naito, followed by a TKO defeat in the second round against Black Panther in his next fight.
In June, at ONE Fight Night 44, he made his kickboxing debut, defeating the previously undefeated Akif Guluzada by unanimous decision. With a record of 28 wins and 2 losses, he was set to face Taiki Naito again at ONE Fight Night 49, but an injury forced that rematch off the schedule.
Thus, the December bout marks Estupinan's return to Muay Thai. Both teams, JCFernandez and Team CSK, will be closely watching.
The Inner Circle 42 takes place on December 11 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok during prime time in Asia. The event will be streamed live for members at live.onefc.com, with programming from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Thailand time.
