Sitthichai to Face Luis Cajaiba for WBC Muay Thai Diamond Belt at Amazing MuayThai World Festival 2026
Thai legend expected to make his farewell appearance in a historic Diamond Belt showdown at Rajadamnern Stadium.

Former multi-time world champion Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong is set to face Brazilian standout Luis Cajaiba for the prestigious WBC Muay Thai Diamond Belt at the Amazing MuayThai World Festival 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The highly anticipated contest will headline the festival’s closing showcase event at the iconic Rajadamnern Stadium and is widely expected to mark the final fight of Sitthichai’s legendary career.
One of the most accomplished fighters of his generation, Sitthichai has built a legacy as one of Thailand’s greatest striking exports. The Thai superstar is a seven-time GLORY Kickboxing World Champion, successfully defending his world title on six occasions during a dominant reign at the top of the sport.
In addition to his international success, Sitthichai is also a former Lumpinee Stadium champion and competed extensively on the global stage, including a high-profile run in ONE Championship between 2020 and 2025.
Over the past decade, he has shared the ring with many of the biggest names in kickboxing and Muay Thai, earning worldwide recognition for his elite technical skill, composure and championship pedigree.
Standing across from him will be former WBC Muay Thai World Champion Luis Cajaiba, one of South America’s leading figures in modern Muay Thai.
The Brazilian contender is also a two-time WBC Muay Thai Super-Welterweight International Champion and has competed in major promotions including Rajadamnern World Series (RWS), LWC Super Champ and the 1774 Muay Thai Series.
Since its introduction in 2011, the WBC Muay Thai Diamond Belt has been awarded to only 14 fighters, making it one of the rarest and most prestigious honours in the sport.
The event will also feature a WBC Muay Thai Light Flyweight World Title clash between Australia’s Kim Townsend and Switzerland’s Aline Seiberth, adding another world championship contest to the international card.
Townsend and Seiberth will battle for global honours as part of a festival expected to attract elite athletes, officials and Muay Thai supporters from around the world.
Now recognised as one of the sport’s premier international celebrations, the Amazing MuayThai World Festival combines elite competition, cultural showcases and amateur tournaments across multiple days in the heart of Thailand.
Additional fights and festival announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
